Terms and Conditions of the Product Warranty

The product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from detective materials and workmanship under normal use, and any such defects will be repaired through Redwave Service Center. The period and conditions of our warranty services are as follow:

  1. You are requested to keep your original proof of purchase, such as the invoice/delivery Note. You will need it to prove the date of purchase in respect of any warranty claims.
  2. This warranty is valid in Maldives only.
  3. We assume invoice/delivery Note as “warranty card”
  4. Invoice/delivery Note is irreplaceable in the event of loss.
  5. When any product is forwarded for servicing to redwave service center, it should be CAREFULLY PACKED AND TOGETHER WITH THE ORIGINAL INVOICE /DELIVERY NOTE.
  6. Please understand that it may take a longer time to repair the product when the required part(s) is/are subject to import restriction and availability of part(s).
  7. We assumes no responsibility, directly or indirectly for financial losses or claims from

third person resulting from the inability to use this product, or the use or loss of use of this

product.

  1. Warranty of products is as specified below with the exception of consumables, exterior

cosmetics parts, appearance plastic parts, options, accessories, battery & adaptor.

  1. The warranty is void in the following cases:

1) The warranty does not apply to any product whose exterior has been damaged or defaced nor to any product subjected to misuse, alteration of serial number, accidental damage, and abnormal handline, use non-original consumable, natural circumstance or service made by anyone other than Redwave Service Center.

2)  This warranty does not cover any modification in design, construction, interfacing, unstable voltage or abnormal voltage.

  1. We strongly recommends that separate permanent written records be kept of all important data. Data may be lost or altered in virtually any electronic memory product under certain circumstances. Therefore, we assume no responsibility for data lost or otherwise rendered unusable whether as a result of static charge build-up, electronic noise from nearby appliances, improper use, repairs, defects, battery replacement, use after the specified battery life has expired, or any other cause.
  2. For consumer products, warranty covers for home use only.
  3. The warranty shall be limited to the expense of replacing the product with the same product or an equivalent product or repair of the product whichever is lower.
  4. This warranty does not cover insect’s infestation or pests invade or animal urine.
  5. Customer must ensure that there is no damage to the delivered product. In case of a delivery fault or damage the customer must inform to Redwave within 24hrs of delivery.
  6. Carry-in service implies that the product needs to be brought to the service center of Redwave by the customer for repair or servicing. The customer should bear any transportation charges.
  7. On-site services implies that the technicians of Redwave would visit the specified location of the product to service and are offered in selected products mention in details of product warranty.
  8. Service warranty implies that the repair and maintenance of the product is covered for the specified period but does not cover replacement of parts and components
  9. The customer must ensure that the product bought is checked for faults before it is bought. It is also the responsibility of the customer to assign someone in their place to carry out the aforementioned check, if he could not be physically present.
  10. For compressor warranty, replacement will be provided once upon confirmation of fault (this excludes refilling gas and transportation charges)
  11. Parts warranty covers only for products which are used in Male’, Hulhumale’ and Villimale.

Hisense Brand TV :

1 Year service warranty also includes 6 months parts warranty

No warranty for remote control and accessories.

Warranty does not cover for any physical damage to any part.

Note: * LED TV refers to LCD TV with LED backlight

6 Months service warranty (Carry in service only),

Warranty does not cover for Controller, Power supply unit and input, output ports.

Soundbar

6 Months service warranty (Carry in service only),

no warranty for remote control and accessories.

Speakers 6 Months service warranty (Carry in service only)
Laptop

1 Year service warranty also includes 3 months parts warranty

Carry in service only. 1 Month warranty for Keyboard and Power Adapter. (input / output ports does not cover warranty)

This does not include warranty for software and additional charges would be levied on software repairs.

Desktop

1 Year service warranty also includes 3 months parts warranty

Carry in service only. 1 Month warranty for Power Supply. (input / output ports does not cover warranty)

Treadmill

6 Months service warranty also includes 1 months parts warranty

Warranty does not cover belt.

Air Conditioner

1 year service warranty also includes 6 months parts warranty

No warranty for remote control and accessories.

No warranty for evaporative condenser

Parts warranty will be applied only if the AC is installed by Redwave service center or by an agent assigned by Redwave

Refrigerator / Chiller

1 Year service warranty also includes 3 month’s parts warranty

Other Brands :

6 Months service warranty also includes 1 month’s parts warranty

Chest Freezer

1 Year service warranty also includes 3 Months Parts warranty

Control Panel – no warranty, motor – 3 Months (Parts).
